Missing link

Construction of Two Tunnel (Two tubes of Four lane each ( in km 1+040 to km 2+790) 1.75km and km 3+440 to 12+360 (8.92km) for Missing Link under Capacity Augmentation of Mumbai Pune Expressway in the state of Maharashtra (Package-1).

Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited (the “Authority”) a corporation fully owned by the Government of Maharashtra intends to undertake Construction of Two Tunnel (Two tubes of Four lane each ( in km 1+040 to km 2+790) 1.75km and km 3+440 to 12+360 (8.92km) for Missing Link under Capacity Augmentation of Mumbai Pune Expressway (the “Project”) through Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract.

The objective of the project is to construct missing link of Mumbai Pune expressway in Khopoli to Lonavala Hilly section and to make the connectivity and to provide transport & communication facilities, considering future growth of traffic in this route. Construction of new alignment for missing link between Khopoli to Lonavala in Mountain and Hilly section of Mumbai Pune corridor, consists of Tunnels, Over Bridge, Viaducts and capacity augmentation of the corridor i.e. existing NH-4 and YCEW including improvements to connectors between NH-4 and YCEW.
